Protech are looking for an experienced Quarry Materials Tester to perform work with our client, located in Nerang.

In this role, you will be testing aggregate materials both in the laboratory and the field. This position offers plenty of variety and opportunity to own the processes that make up this important role in the team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Immediate start available
• Permanent role
• 50-55 hour work week
• Based in Nerang
• Monthly RDO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform aggregate field sampling in the quarry and testing in the on-site laboratory
• Carry out equipment calibrations, daily checks and routines to maintain laboratory NATA requirements
• Daily use of computers and information management systems to update data and run reports
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Previous testing experience in aggregates (AS1289 & TMRQ methods)
• Construction white card
• Drivers licence & reliable transport
• Cert III in Laboratory Techniques preferred
• Ability to work unsupervised with strong communication skills and attention to detail
