Role Description
This position is ideal for a sales professional with a solid understanding of the steel industry and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Working closely with the external sales team, warehouse, and logistics departments, the Internal Sales Representative will play a key role in managing inbound enquiries, processing sales orders, and maintaining strong client relationships.
The successful candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritise tasks, respond to client needs promptly, and ensure accurate and timely processing of orders. A strong commercial mindset and attention to detail will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels, providing accurate product information and pricing.
Prepare and process quotes and sales orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers.
Liaise with internal teams including warehouse and logistics to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve order issues.
Monitor inventory levels and advise customers on availability and lead times.
Provide support to the external sales team and assist with follow-ups and client communications.
Maintain accurate records in the CRM and other internal systems.
Contribute to a team culture focused on service excellence, reliability, and accountability.
Salay and Benefits
Base $80 - $85k | Super 11.5%
