This employer is a long-standing, vertically integrated beef processing business located in regional Queensland. With over 60 years of operation and a strong international footprint, the business processes over 1,200 units daily and employs more than 750 staff across its operations.

Renowned for its quality beef products—including grain-fed, grass-fed, pasture-raised, and organic lines—the facility holds key domestic and international certifications, servicing major export markets. To support their ongoing growth in the industry, a skilled Load Out Supervisor is required to join their team in Oakey, QLD.

The Role
As the Load Out Supervisor, your core focus will be planning and supervising daily activities surrounding the dispatch of packaged Beef products. This hands-on leadership position involves coordinating stock, logistics, and compliance to meet customer and export standards.

Reporting to the Load Out Lead Supervisor, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Supervising day shift Load Out staff and planning for subsequent afternoon and night shifts
• Liaising with Shipping and Sales departments to plan and prioritise daily/weekly requirements
• Coordinating on-site logistics for deliveries and pick-ups
• Monitoring temperature control systems and coordinating equipment maintenance when required
• Actively supervising the Load Out department to achieve competent and effective completion of tasks
• Training new staff and ensuring compliance with safety and export requirements

About You
Our ideal candidate will be a reliable and accountable leader with strong attention to detail and the ability to think ahead and problem solve in a fast-paced environment. Whilst previous experience in a meat processing plant is desirable, those with experience in similar industries are still urged to apply.

To be considered for the role, you must be able to address the following criteria:

• Experience in a supervisory role within a high-volume or fast-paced environment
• Strong planning and problem-solving capabilities
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style
• Good memory and keen attention to detail
• Ability to foster team rapport and morale

Other certification/licences desired for the role (or willingness to acquire) include:

• Forklift Licence (highly desirable)
• Certificates in logistics or export
• Understanding of export documentation processes
