As our client's Logistics Supervisor, you'll be the backbone of our event operations – planning, coordinating, and executing logistics to perfection. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives on structure, efficiency, and delivering flawless event experiences.
You'll also take the reins on restructuring our logistics department, optimising systems and workflows, and leading a dedicated team to achieve operational excellence.

• Monday- Friday role (possible weekends!)
• $80k + super

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics for weddings, exhibitions, and corporate events – ensuring all equipment, materials, and staff are at the right place, at the right time.
• Team Leadership & Training: Motivate, lead, and develop a high-performing logistics team. Set clear expectations, provide coaching, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Department Restructuring & Process Optimisation: Identify inefficiencies and lead the transformation of the logistics department to deliver better, faster, and smarter outcomes.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Work with suppliers to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
• Inventory Oversight: Manage equipment and stock – from storage and tracking to dispatch and returns – to avoid shortages or excess.
• On-Site Event Supervision: Be on the ground during events, overseeing bump-ins, bump-outs, and ensuring flawless logistics execution.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain safety standards and ensure all logistics activities meet compliance requirements.
• Weekend Availability: Be available for Saturday work – events don’t stop on weekends, and neither do we.

What You Bring:

• Proven logistics management experience – ideally in events, hire or hospitality
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities
• Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
• Track record of improving logistics systems and processes
• Confident communicator – both written and verbal
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Weekend flexibility and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
