Our client is a large Government organisation who are seeking two Salesforce Developers to join their team.
In this role, you will develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce and other technologies and create technical documentation for the company, like user guides, release notes and design documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications.
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and deployment.
- Supporting, maintaining and improving the working of existing Salesforce applications for optimal functionality.
- Creating and maintaining integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and other developers to identify and implement improvements for the system.
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience of Salesforce administration, including Salesforce lightning framework, Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Education Cloud, Salesforce service cloud and Business Rules Engine.
- Multiple years of Hands-on experience Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce and other Salesforce development technologies.
- Experience in Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder.
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
- (Desirable) Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
- (Desirable) Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
On offer is a contract role with potential extension at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
