Our client is a large Government organisation who are seeking Full Stack Developer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop SPAs and AWS Lambda functions using node.js
   
2. Work with UX team to take a prototype and develop into customer facing web application
   
3. Participate in design and code reviews
   
4. Interact with backend systems
   
5. Liaise with business representatives and Subject Matter Experts to understand the business requirements behind the existing integration
   
6. Adherence to department’s brand, accessibility, coding standards, processes, documentation, incident management, problem management, change management etc.
   

Selection Criteria:

1. Proficiency in JavaScript ES6, CSS3, and HTML5
   
2. Proficiency in one or more modern JavaScript; Node, Vue, Nuxt, or React.
   
3. Optimising code to run across multiple devices and browsers
   
4. Exposure to writing unit, integration and E2E tests using tools such as Mocha, Jest, etc
   
5. Experience in REST API Design & Implementation
   
6. Experience with version control management and repository Git & Bitbucket
   

Other desirable skills and qualifications

1. Experience with Vue 3
   
2. AWS experience across one or more of the following EC2, SQS, Lambda, CloudFront, DynamoDB, API Gateway, VPC and S3
   
3. Experience implementing AWS Lambda functions using Node.js
   
4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate each component in that pipeline
   
5. Experience implementing SSO/OpenAM/OAuth
   
6. Experience using a NoSQL database
