Salesforce Developer (multiple roles)
Start Date: May 2025
Duration: Initial 12-month contract with possible extension
Pay Rate: $1050 to $1100 per day
Location (candidates must be within NSW): Sydney/WFH flexibility

This is an exciting role to work with a new Salesforce delivery team on a 2-year roadmap to deliver an integrated regulatory platform. The organisation aims to be a world-leading, intelligence-led, risk-based regulator using the latest Salesforce capabilities to make sure that schemes protect and support the people who need them, now and in the future.

Key Accountabilities (but not limited to):

• Design, develop, test and support custom solutions using Salesforce CRM technology in accordance with functional specifications and internal development standards and procedures.
• Deep technical understanding of Salesforce Platform Fundamentals.
• Extensive experience using Apex, Visual Force, LWC, Aura Components, JavaScript, CSS and HTML & using the appropriate features and capabilities of each framework or language.
• Ability to build Integrations using Apex REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events and Outbound Messages.
• Configuration of objects, flows, sharing settings, permission sets and other security related configuration components of Salesforce.
• Experience in building, configuring and implementing Salesforce Communities applications, using the declarative customisation capabilities of Salesforce's Digital Experience Platform.
• Solid working experience with Salesforce DX, CLI, Git repository, Continuous Deployment pipeline (GitHub or Azure DevOps).
• Experience in fixing any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and Lightning Components.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment, review functional specifications and estimate the effort required to complete maintenance or development tasks.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years’ experience working in Salesforce Development.
• Experience working in all phases of software development, unit testing, debugging, implantation & support.
• Experience setting up and managing Salesforce source code management using CI/CD processes.
• Current Salesforce Certifications (Platform Developer 1 & 2).
• Certification in Service Cloud or Experience Cloud
• Experience with Salesforce OmniScript is desirable.
