The Role

Describes the person we are looking to join our incredibly driven team.

The patient services officer plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our online clinic. We are seeking an officer looking to work collaboratively with our dynamic team of psychologists, and mental health nurses.

Areas of Responsibility

Triage incoming calls and making outbound calls to patients seeking to speak with a psychologist

Manage staffing of psychologists in the clinic, ensuring enough capacity to manage demand.

Management of billing - collecting payments using our debiting software or invoicing for direct transfers + processing medicare rebates

A high degree of customer service

Liaising with Medicare and referring practitioners as needed

Providing feedback and suggestions to improve our administrative systems

Responding to client and clinician queries via phone, email

About you

1-2 year customer service

Experience working in health clinic (not essential)

Interest in mental health
