Location: 1 Simmons Street, Wagga Wagga, NSW

Basis: Part-Time 22.5hrs per week

Award: MA00002, Grade 3 Hourly rate: $28.69hr + Super and award entitlements.

Position Overview:

The Publicity and Marketing Officer will be working within the RCM's Finance and Administration team. This role will require a proactive and creative individual to assist in maintaining and enhancing the RCM's brand visibility and communication efforts using various tools and platforms to assist with advertising, event promotion, social media management and content creation.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Assist in promoting and driving the growth of the RCM

● Oversee and manage of RCM website, social media platforms and mailing lists

● Creating short promotional videos/reels

● Designing and distributing both internal and external marketing materials.

● Organising the development, printing and distribution of RCM Brochures

● Photograph, Record and/or Live streaming onsite and offsite concerts/events as required

● Promoting and assisting with RCM concerts and other events

● Maintain marketing materials

Essential Criteria:

● High level of written and verbal communication skills

● Strong understanding of Social Media platforms

● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and/or other design/production tools

● Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.

● Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners

● Hold or be willing to obtain a working with Children Check

● Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently

● Willingness to assist colleagues and be responsive to department and organisational requirements

Desirable Criteria:

● Prior experience in Marketing, publicity, or a related field is an advantage

● Experience in video editing, photography, or live streaming is desirable

● Hold or be willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate

Further Information:

● Guaranteed 22.5 hours per week, part-time position, with the possibility of some additional hours to support organisational needs.

● Flexibility required for events, with some work outside of standard hours (evenings/weekends) depending on event schedules.
