About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join our growing team and take ownership of our technical operations, including QA and product development. Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of technical staff, including QA & product development.

Coach and support direct reports, fostering high performance and engagement within the team.

Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with productivity and business goals.

Collaborate with the management team to ensure the effective implementation of technical solutions, quality control measures, and efficient management practices.

Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders, engaging in stakeholder interactions, liaising with customers to forecast potential issues, leading corrective action plans, and conducting thorough root cause analysis to ensure continuous improvement.

Anticipate market trends and innovate solutions accordingly to deliver a competitive advantage as a supplier of choice.

Drive continuous improvement in technical operations, processes, and service quality.

Identify new opportunities for recipe, formulation, and process improvements.

Keep abreast of business priorities, issues, and those of the food industry and convey this information to the business.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement bringing outside-in thinking into proactive concept development that accelerates the innovation pipeline development.

Ability to multitask to a reasonable level.

What we are looking for:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an R&D Manager, plus 5 years in general R&D roles within the food manufacturing industry.

Strong leadership skills and experience managing diverse technical teams.

Proven track record in continuous improvement, innovation, and process development.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Passion for food, innovation, and delivering best-in-class quality.
