About Us
Infinico is a business consulting company. We are seeking a Financial Accounting Officer to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards, and supporting the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee general accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payment and receipt processing.
Prepare and process invoices, financial transactions, and tax obligations to ensure timely collections and payments.
Generate and analyse financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget forecasts to assist senior management in decision-making.
Maintain accurate accounting records in Salesforce CRM.
Ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws, including BAS, GST reporting, and tax filing requirements.
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable on a regular basis to ensure financial accuracy and consistency across systems.
Process and record receipts, payments, and any adjustments to accounts to ensure accuracy in reporting.
Assist in preparing financial audits, providing required documentation to auditors, and implementing recommendations for improved compliance.
Monitor credit control, follow up on outstanding payments, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies.
Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required
Master’s degree in Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification).
Minimum three years of experience in accounting and financial management systems such as MYOB, Xero, CRM software such as Salesforce, preferably related to the real estate sector.
Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax laws.
Hands-on experience with account reconciliation, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Mortgage broking experience and knowledge is a plus, particularly related to the real estate market and lending practices.
