Our client is a rapidly growing retail business known for their customer-first attitude and supportive team culture. They are looking for a reliable and experienced Payroll Officer to join them on a part-time permanent basis.

About you:

• Full function processing of a weekly payroll across multiple sites
• Updating and maintenance of employee files
• Ensure compliance with award rates, tax, and superannuation obligations
• Maintain payroll records and respond to employee payroll queries
• Processing of terminations, Workcover, deductions, and entitlements
• Award interpretation
• Assisting with year-end reporting
• Other ad hoc projects and tasks within the scope of the role.

About you:

• Previous payroll experience, ideally within a retail or similar environment
• Strong understanding of payroll systems and current legislation
• High attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Proficient with systems.
