Position Purpose
The Regional Manager position is instrumental in supporting staff and participants across all of our community and in-home programs within their state and/or territory. This is achieved by providing hands-on leadership to support people achieving their goals. This position is the key link between the teams responsible for the design and delivery of services and the executive management team & relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the rights, interests, and needs of people with disabilities.
Demonstrate commitment to high quality service for people with disabilities.
Provide hands-on leadership, mentoring, and coaching to staff across multiple sites, ensuring the achievement of participant goals.
Oversee the delivery of services in disability support, out-of-home care, and state-run programs, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including families, guardians, Support Coordinators, and internal teams.
Manage the financial and operational aspects of service delivery, including budget oversight, recruitment, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Lead training and development initiatives for staff, ensuring they are equipped to deliver quality care and manage complex behaviours.
Ensure the safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance of all programs, including the reporting of incidents and restricted practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3 years in a similar managerial role, with substantial experience in disability services, community care, or related fields.
Strong understanding of government reforms and emerging trends in the sector.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, influence, and drive outcomes within a diverse team.
Experience in managing budgets, service delivery, and compliance requirements.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health, Human Resources, Community Services, or equivalent.
Current First Aid, National Criminal Record Check, and other mandatory compliance certifications.
