As a Disability Support Worker, you play an essential role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals to live a life inspired. You will work closely with participants, families, and management to create a safe and empowering environment that fosters autonomy, inclusion, and respect for each individual's unique abilities. Qualifications & experience

MUST have qualification in Disability Support or related field. Experience working with people with disabilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Current First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check. Strong English in reading and writing skills

Experience within the industry a MUST

MUST be reliable with strong ethics and good values

MUST have a good attitude, kind and caring

MUST be resilient and be able to be fluid on shift

Mental Health Experience and understanding required- participant has complex physical and psychological disabilities. Intensive training and on going support will be provided

Tasks & responsibilities

Offer personalised support in daily living tasks and personal care. Assist participants in accessing community activities and events. Document progress and report any concerns or updates. Adhere to organisational policies and industry standards
