ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

KSC Claims is expanding! Due to growing demand from Australian veterans, we’re looking for DVA Advocates to support veterans navigating the DVA claims process. This role is pivotal in ensuring veterans receive the care, respect, and advocacy they deserve.

As a DVA Advocate, you will be a trusted guide, helping veterans through intricate claim processes with professionalism, empathy, and unwavering support. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure each claim is handled with diligence and care.

Those with prior work experience as a Qualified level 2, 3 or 4 Advocate under the ATDP is required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of DVA claims for the veterans full life cycle

Interpret legislation and prepare comprehensive claims for clients

Build strong relationships with veterans, understanding their unique circumstances and needs

Provide clear explanations of complex DVA processes and entitlements

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all veteran interactions and claim progress

Stay current with DVA legislation, policies, and procedures
