About the role

Join the passionate team at All Types of Care Queensland as a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Support Worker based in Rockhampton, Queensland. This is a casual role that offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalized support and assistance with daily living activities to enable clients to live independently

Helping clients with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, social and community participation

Promoting client wellbeing, independence and quality of life

Collaborating with the client, their family and other care providers to deliver coordinated, person-centred support

Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed records

Adhering to all policies, procedures and legislative requirements

What we're looking for

Previous experience in disability support or a related field

A passion for supporting people with disabilities to live independently

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each client

A positive, patient and empathetic attitude
