Tuga Pastries is a second generation baker that has been in Sydney for over 35 years making the best pastries, but most famously known for its amazing Portuguese Tarts.

The business continues to grow as we expand our cafe and restaurants in Alexandria and Clovelly, with other locations opening soon. The business culture at Tuga is one that values excellent customer service, quality products, and a warm and friendly atmosphere where staff are looked after.

We are recruiting a Retail Manager to work with our Group Venue Manager with the running our venues.

The position is full-time and is great opportunity for career growth.

As a Manager at Tuga Pastries, your key focuses will include;

Leading a team of fun-loving front of house individuals to ensure that they are consistently delivering an exceptional experience to our guests;

Maintaining a vibrant and inviting atmosphere

Collaborating with the kitchen teams to ensure that our products are always of a high standard

Meeting revenue and budget targets set by the business

Adhering to hygiene standards and ensuring stock levels are maintained

Ensuring that our focus is always on the guest and their experience;

Taking care of the guest experience from hello to see you again

Ideally, we would love to meet someone with 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role or supervisory role and ready for the next step. Must have a great can-do attitude, and a focus on guest experience.
