About the Role:

As an OSHC Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for children, including those with additional needs. You will work as part of a team to ensure all children feel supported, safe, and included in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support children in their play and daily routines, fostering a positive and inclusive environment
2. Assist children with additional needs to engage in activities alongside their peers
3. Provide personal care support, including changing nappies if required
4. Work collaboratively with the team to create a safe and supportive space for all children
5. Follow guidance from senior educators to assist in meeting children’s needs

Requirements:

1. Certificate III, Certificate IV (Education Support), or Diploma in a relevant field (preferred)
2. Experience working with children, including those with additional needs
3. Understanding of inclusion and child development
4. Ability to assist with personal care needs when required
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills
6. Current Working with Children Check and relevant first aid qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
