Essential Qualifications:

Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).​

Current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.​

First Aid Certificate, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.​

Essential Skills and Attributes:

Ability to provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children.​

Understanding of developmental milestones and needs of various age groups.​

Capability to design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs.​

Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.​

Ability to work as part of a diverse team.​

Adaptability to various situations in an early childhood setting.​

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.​

Understanding of standards and assessment processes to ensure quality service.​

Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families, and individual children's needs.​

Proficiency in using computers and relevant software for documentation.​

Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant, or similar role.​
