Job Overview: You will be on the floor, the face of the business. Duties will include assisting the VM with managing the FOH team, the weekend café, rostering, stock management and event co-ordinations.

You must have a good understanding of how to run a bar, TAB, and coffee machines along with the confidence to train new staff in the bar and cafe. Most importantly engage with your staff to deliver the best customer experience possible. Assist management with the financial elements of the business including labour costs, cost of goods and event costs. Become a key and integral member of the community. Key Responsibilities:

Assist VM with bar and cafè operations.

Effectively manage and track Labour Costs.

Order and monitor all beverage and food related inventory for bar and cafe.

Complete inventory stocktake.

Effectively manage and track Cost of Goods.

Manage the day-to-day venue operations when required.

Manage, lead and train our small team.

Ensure the highest level of customer experience is delivered.

Maintain a high standard of venue cleanliness.

Assist in implementing revenue driving strategies.

Report directly to the Venue Manager.

Qualifications:

Minimum two years’ experience in either a Venue/Bar/Cafe/Restaurant Manager role. A background in marketing and or social media confidence would be favourable

Be technically confident and able to troubleshoot POS, TAB, audio system and be comfortable on a computer

Demonstrated experience in managing a small team.

Demonstrated experience in managing POS systems.

Hold an Approved Managers card.

Available to work nights and weekends.

Available and excited to work in the small town of Cervantes
