Delton Financial has been established since 2015 after the principal Mortgage Broker left a major bank to create the Broker business. Since inception, Delton Financial has always maintained a small team but is committed to providing high level outcomes for clients and ongoing support in changing economic climates.

Qualifications & experience

Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance or a business related study is preferred, however not mandatory.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment that may require multitasking.

Ability to work autonomously and diligently.

Prior banking experience is preferred, however a base level of knowledge of home loans and the lending process is mandatory.

Willingness to learn and develop in a changing environment.

Strong attention to detail and care in relation to Compliance and Audit.

Tasks & responsibilities

Onboarding new clients into Broker Portal and preparing the application in the lodgment system.

Conduct verification of employment for new clients.

Review documents received by clients and confirm they are as requested.

Liaise with lender's Broker Support Team to understand the status of an application after it's lodged.

Supporting approved loans through to settlement, after it has been approved by liaising with conveyancers and the lender's settlement agents.

Keeping client's profiles up to date with settled applications & their final products.

Communicating with clients that are due for expiry on Fixed Interest Rates and Interest Only Repayments.

Working directly with the principal Mortgage Broker to support loan applications in the 'end to end' process.
