Are you a detail-oriented numbers enthusiast with a knack for organisation? We’re on the hunt for an Accounts Receivable / Payable Officer to join our Head Office team and support the smooth operation of our financeand office functions.
In this pivotal role, you’ll handle a variety of general accounting and clerical tasks, directly contributing to the efficiency and excellence that set our organisation apart. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you’ll be an integral part of a team that values precision, collaboration, and innovation.

Key to your success will be your demonstrated experience in the following areas:
General accounts receivable support:
Prepare and submit customer invoices
Code, post, and receipt payments
Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
Perform all necessary account, bank, and other reconciliations
Monitor customer accounts for non payment and delayed payment
General accounts payable support:
Check, verify, and process invoices
Prepare payments for authorization/approval
Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
Monitor discrepancies and unpaid invoices
Maintain supplier files
Other responsibilities include:
Provide backup support for payroll during periods of absence.
Liaise with group venue managers for invoice approvals.
Assist collation of stock purchases post-stock-take
Any additional duties within your capability as directed by the Finance Manager
Successful candidates will have at least 1 years of experience in a similar role and environment, coupled with the following skills and attributes:
Xero, MS Office, and knowledge of accounting software
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy – data entry and reconciliations
Good organisation skills with the ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
