About Genesis Health + Fitness Lawnton:

Genesis Lawnton is one of the leading Health Clubs within Brisbane.
Recently upgraded with a refreshed vibe and new strength equipment, our Club offers our members Coaching Zone HIIT Training, Reformer Pilates, Group Fitness, large open plan gym floor, Childminding, Sauna & steam rooms, 24/7 access and more, we are the gym for everybody.

Our group includes Genesis Lawnton and Genesis Windsor clubs.

The Role:

We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for our next Coaching Zone Head Coach.
With the passion and energy to lead a group of trainers to deliver high-quality group sessions and motivate and engage our community of members, we are looking for an experienced Head Coach that wants to make a difference to our fitness community and grow alongside our wider opportunities.

Our Coaching Zone program utilises MyZone Heart Rate technology and pre-programmed sessions to enable our Head Coach and team of Coaches to maximise their coaching focus, providing our members with continual support and feedback through the sessions. The MyZone technology is key to delivering our programs with all members utilising the technology, ensuring they are training within the specified heart rate zone at all times.

Key Requirements of the Role:

Being a Management position, each day is busy and varied, so the successful candidate will need to be adaptable to manage their time on:

Delivering high-quality Coaching Zone sessions

Driving our fitness community through events, challenges and social media activities

Achieving KPIs of members upgrades, retention of existing members and growth targets

Recruiting, training and developing the coaching team

The ideal applicant will have experience in a similar role within Group Personal Training (FitStop, BodyFit, F45).

Hours of the role are part-time (20 hours per week management plus at least 6 coaching sessions/week) with flexible rostering to be discussed.

What We Are Looking For (Essential):

Previous experience in a similar Group Training role

Ability to engage and coordinate a group of clients

Strong leadership qualities

A 'Can Do' attitude

Certificate IV in Fitness

Current First Aid and CPR

Key Accountabilities:

Growth targets (Upgrades & Retention) of our Premium Membership (Coaching Zone and Reformer Pilates programs)

Ensure a high-level of program delivery and coaching sessions across our Coaching Zone

Recruit, train and develop a complimentary team of Coaches

Coaching Zone appearance (cleanliness/maintenance) standards are at a high level at all times
