We’re not your average gym, we’re the first of our kind. classic strength training in a group setting. No cardio. No burpees. No fluff. Just classic strength training in a group setting. We’re expanding our team and are on the hunt for a coach to lead group strength sessions at our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility in Northgate, fully equipped with barbells, dumbbells, cables, and every attachment you could dream of.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
At iLIFT, we do things a little differently.
We don’t have any cardio equipment, because we focus purely on strength training.
We don’t have 1 on 1 sessions, because we’re a group-training gym.
We’re not looking for trainers, because we need coaches.
The difference is that a coach will take their role seriously, whereas a trainer is simply there to take some sessions & cash-in.
We don’t need you to be an expert in strength training, or a seasoned coach, we just need you to be willing to learn and give it a good crack.
Our in-house coach development program will start on Day 1, equipping you with the knowledge & skills to successfully coach members to their goals, lead & manage group training sessions with confidence, and most importantly - communicate with clarity and purpose.
Our operating hours provide a part-time working opportunity for coaches to work alongside a highly driven, enthusiastic and progressive team at iLIFT.
It won’t be easy work, but we promise it’ll be worth it.
YOUR ROLE AT iLIFT:
To deliver an unparalleled experience to lifters by having a genuine desire to see them succeed
To lead each session with intentional & thoughtful actions, ensuring each technique cue or correction aligns with iLIFT’s commitment to quality
To confidently apply any knowledge & tools you’ve been taught, without hesitation or fear of failure
To hold yourself to a high standard & continuously find ways to elevate it
To maintain a high-performing environment for training to take place - cleanliness, organisation & presentation of the facility
To engage with, mentor & challenge lifters to push past their barriers in the safety of a controlled environment
To actively support the iLIFT brand and continued growth by ensuring each interaction leaves a positive impression every time
To prioritise your mental-well being and most importantly - your physical abilities. You need to walk the walk & talk the talk.
Hours
20-23 hours of part time work
Mon-Sat
Mon-Fri early morning sessions between 5am-9am and afternoon/evening sessions between 5pm - 9pm.
Sat morning sessions between 0630am-0930am.
Skills and experience
Minimum Cert III in Fitness & Cert IV in Fitness
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
Preferred experience in group training but we can teach you
