As the business expands, data-driven decision-making has become crucial to its success. We seek an experienced Data Analyst and BI Specialist to optimise our data pipelines, reporting infrastructure, and analytics capabilities.

Role Overview

Design and manage data solutions to optimise e-commerce and retail operations. Own ETL pipelines, Looker/Google BI reporting, and platform integrations to transform data into strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process & Systems Analysis

· Analyse business operations, including sales, inventory, marketing, and logistics, to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

· Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across finance, marketing, warehousing, and e-commerce teams.

· Evaluate existing systems (e.g., NETO, Retail Express, Xero, Klaviyo) and recommend enhancements for better data integration and workflow automation.

Data Analytics & Reporting

· Design and optimise data pipelines (ETL) to consolidate business data from multiple platforms into Google BigQuery for centralised reporting.

· Develop interactive dashboards (Looker/Google Data Studio) and financial models to support forecasting, inventory management, and cost optimisation.

· To drive data-backed decision-making, and perform deep-dive analysis on sales, marketing, and call centre KPIs.

System Integration & Solution Design

· Configure and integrate third-party systems (e.g., LiveChat, shipping carriers, Google Analytics) with NETO to improve data visibility and operational efficiency.

· Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement automated workflows across sales, warehouse, and marketing functions.

· Administer cloud-based VPS infrastructure and manage data extraction tools (Airbyte, custom connectors) for seamless data flow.

E-Commerce & Technical Support

· Provide technical administration for the NETO e-commerce platform, ensuring performance optimisation and troubleshooting issues.

· Assist in front-end web development (PHP, HTML, JavaScript) using NETO’s B@SE technology to meet business needs.

· Support marketing and SEO teams with data-driven insights and system integrations for campaign tracking.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

· Liaise between business units and IT teams to translate requirements into functional technical specifications.

· Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess system effectiveness and identify further optimisation opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

· 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI development, or systems integration.

· Proficiency in Google BigQuery, SQL, Dataform, and Looker (Google Data Studio).

· Hands-on experience with ETL processes and multi-system data extraction.

· Strong knowledge of e-commerce and POS data analysis (NETO, Retail Express).

· Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (VPS, Airbyte, Google Cloud).

· Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PHP for web-based analytics and automation.

· Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models and reports.

· Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and CRM data analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Experience in financial forecasting and inventory optimisation.

· Knowledge of AI/ML-based analytics tools.

· Familiarity with Australian e-commerce and logistics operations.
