We are seeking a permanent part-time or full-time Dental Hygienist for 4 days pw, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Australia who enjoys working alongside a new, positive and growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about oral health and dedicated to helping patients understand the value of maintaining a healthy, beautiful, and long-lasting smile.

About you:
The chosen candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

A polite, kind, respectful and professional disposition towards patients, staff and management

A high attention to detail and ability to take on feedback and instructions positively

Passion and motivated about providing quality care

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently

You will have a current Dental Hygienist qualification and be AHPRA registered with current indemnity insurance

You have good time management skills, have strong communication skills and can maintain accurate clinical records

Proficiency in dental practice management software (Experience with Dental4Windows (D4W) and/or EXACT is highly desirable but not essential)

You will be expected to perform all aspects of Dental Hygiene practice including;

Scaling and polishing, fluoride treatments, Periodontal diagnosis, hygiene treatment planning and periodontal therapy

Administering local anaesthetic for dental hygiene treatment, and occasionally for general dental procedures

Taking of radiographs including OPGs

Impression taking and photographs

Oral hygiene instruction and dietary advice

Teeth Whitening

Adhering to safety, sterilisation and infection control standards

Other general duties as required
