About the Role

With U Dental is a modern, patient-focused dental clinic located in Hawthorn East. We are looking for a confident and friendly Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our supportive team. This is a dual role, ideal for someone who enjoys both clinical and front-desk responsibilities.

You will play a key role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly and patients feel cared for from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

Chairside assisting with general dental procedures and oral surgery

Sterilising instruments and maintaining infection control standards

Greeting and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism

Managing phone calls, bookings, and general patient enquiries

Processing payments, health fund claims, Humm plans and superannuation applications

Keeping the clinic organised, clean, and well-stocked

Supporting patients with dental anxiety in a calm and compassionate manner

General dental assisting and reception duties as needed

About You

Confident and clear phone manner

Minimum 12 months of experience in dental assisting

Previous experience in a dental or medical reception role

Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (highly regarded but not essential)

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Experience supporting anxious or nervous patients is a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
