About the company

This company has established themselves as an industry leader in the Australian market in the FMCG space. They are in need of a Afternoon Shift Supervisor to lead a team of 16 in Southern Sydney located conveniently off the M5 corridor.

Shift Times: 2:30pm start, Mon-Fri (This is a 24/5 manufacturing site)

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the afternoon shift team to achieve production and quality KPIs
• Ensure compliance with safety, HACCP, GMP, and company operating procedures
• Monitor production lines to maintain optimal efficiency and minimise downtime
• Coordinate raw material and labour requirements to meet shift targets
• Support and participate in GEMBA walks and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete pre-start and in-process checks
• Liaise with maintenance and other departments to ensure smooth operations

Skills & Experience

• Proven leadership experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and safety compliance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, hands-on role
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and production KPIs is advantageous
