MARS Recruitment is partnering with a leading company in the infrastructure sector to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst. This role is integral to the organisation's financial strategy, focusing on corporate models and key business drivers to generate meaningful insights that support critical decision-making.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing financial models that provide valuable forecasts and scenario analyses. Your work will play a key role in supporting regulatory determinations, debt raising, credit rating processes, and business development initiatives. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations, ensuring informed strategic planning and financial sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update corporate, regulatory, and bank models with the latest financial and regulatory assumptions.
• Support debt-raising activities by analysing various financial scenarios.
• Enhance models as key forecasting tools to optimise cash flow and maximise shareholder returns.
• Review tax assumptions and report on expected liability changes.
• Conduct semi-annual equity valuations, preparing reports and briefing shareholders as needed.
• Prepare an annual valuation report for the Board.
• Contribute to long-term commercial planning and scenario analysis.

Criteria:

• 4+ years' post qualification experience
• CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Strong financial modelling skills required
• Exhibits strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Possesses exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven experience in driving process improvements and implementing controls frameworks
