The Role:

Full-time Monday to Friday (no weekend work), 9.00am to 5.00pm

End to end Trust Accounting of both Property Management & Sales

Mid & End of the month for the Property Management portfolio

Assisting with invoicing and accounts inquiries

Daily Trust Account Reconciliation

Accounts Receivable and Reconciliations

Assisting Property Managers with ledgers and owner/tenant queries

Payroll processing and staff reimbursements

General Accounts

Marketing Invoices

Reconciling & receipting

Accounts reporting

Invoicing, creditor management, and accounts payable/receivable

BAS preparation and reporting (with support from our accountant)

Reconciliations, speed sheets & forecasting

Assist with preparation of documentation for annual audits for residential trust accounts.

Assist with Profit & Loss Statements

Main software is MYOB, Property Tree, REX

About the Role

As our Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end financial operations across our sales and property management portfolios. This includes overseeing daily trust accounting, reconciling ledgers, handling disbursements, and ensuring legislative compliance. You will play a key role in supporting the business with accurate and timely financial reporting.

This role reports directly to the business owner and works closely with our director of property management. You will also have input into system efficiencies and business growth strategy.

About You

If you are a methodical, proactive professional with a strong understanding of real estate accounting. You’ll be the kind of person who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes with your accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest if you possess the following:

2+ years of experience in a comparable Bookkeeper/Accounts-All Rounder/Company Accountant position with a demonstrated payroll skillset.

It is preferable that you have experience within the real estate or property sector but no essential.

Strong interpersonal skills and able to confidently liaise with key stakeholders
