About the role

We are seeking a qualified, passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team at The Montessori Farm in Upper Coomera, Queensland. As a full-time Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our young students, guiding them through their early educational journey.

What you'll be doing

Plan and deliver engaging, Montessori-inspired learning experiences that foster the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children aged 3-6 years

Observe and assess each child's progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet their individual needs

Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support the holistic development of each child

Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Contribute to the ongoing improvement and implementation of the Montessori curriculum

Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, preferably in a Montessori setting

Thorough understanding of the Montessori philosophy and its application in the early learning environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Excellent organisational and time management abilities

Genuine passion for nurturing the development and learning of young children

Current First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid Working with Children Check
