Workfast is looking for a Machine Operator for a valued client based in Lansdale, WA, paying $34.50 Per Hour + Penalties.

Our client is a wholly owned Western Australian family company, established in 1985 with the goal of providing industry with the best sheet metal product and service possible. More than thirty years on, the company is still in family hands and has expanded to a team of over 160 people.

Always dedicated to delivering the finest results, our client manufactures a wide range of their products using COLORBOND® materials. This amazing, versatile and attractive product is ideal for the manufacture of a variety of metal solutions including fencing, roof trusses, specialised trailers and roofing sheets. Our client manufacture and supply the product in three profiles of roofing. These are Corrugated, Comclad® and Comrib 50.

• Monday - Friday, Day & Afternoon Shift Hours Available

• Day Shift:
  Monday - Thursday, 07.00am - 3.30pm
  Friday, 07.00am - 1.00pm
• Afternoon Shift:
  Monday - Thursday, 3.30pm - 12.00am
  Friday - 1.00pm - 7.00pm

What you need:

• Australian C-Class Driver's License & Own Car
• Forklift License & experience
• Previous experience operating rollforming / press / similar machinery
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Experience working in a workshop environment
• Any other tickets helpful

What you will be doing:

• Operate, program, and maintain press brake machine to produce metal products (fascia, flashings, custom bends etc.) in accordance with specifications / or offside to an operator
• Monitor machine cycles and finished products, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
• Uphold a clean, safe, and organised work environment at all times
• Accurately complete production reports, tracking progress and performance
• Conduct inspections and routine maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
• Other tasks as directed by on-site supervisor
