Joining our team as a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through close collaboration with clients. In this high-impact position, you’ll have the opportunity to lead the charge in further developing our Professional Services model. Heavily weighted towards Professional Services.

Your Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, MS Defender, and Intune

Automate delivery and implementation using automation tools

Automate repeatable tasks in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365

Maintain Azure B2C directories

Maintain Microsoft Power Apps, Flow, Logic Apps

Identify gaps and opportunities to improve services utilising Azure and 365 services

Troubleshoot, deploy, and migrate M365 stack

Maintain, deploy and understand Microsoft Defender suite

Review, recommend and maintain all aspects of security in IT, Azure, 365 and Intune

Requirements

3-5 or more years experience working in Microsoft Azure

5 or more years experience working in Microsoft 365

Proven experience in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Intune

Understanding of DR, BCP, databases, operating systems & storage

Solid understanding of hybrid cloud environments

Microsoft Azure and/or 365 Certifications

Ability to work autonomously

Working within a team

Solid understanding of on premises infrastructure

Proven experience deploying and managing Microsoft Intune deployments

Some working experience with PowerShell

Strong documentation skills

Strong communication skills

Desirables

Experience with on-premises physical servers, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix and storage components.

Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, including deploying, configuring, and managing security information and event management (SIEM) solutions to enhance organizational security posture.

Experience with compliance regulation, including the implementation of the Essentials 8 framework.

Previous technical pre-sales experience will be highly regarded.

Experience in creating and maintaining documentation, including Microsoft 365 architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Result Areas

The position of Senior Cloud Consultant encompasses the following major functions:

Delivery of the Professional Services function – this includes but is not limited to:

Taking ownership of projects from Pre-Sales through to Delivery and Support.

Prioritizing and managing multiple projects at once.

Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with clients

Ensuring all project work conforms to Cloud Contexts minimum standards – this includes ensuring language and punctuation is to high standard.

Solving technical issues by phone, email or in person.

Provide technical mentorship to the Professional Services function:

Training and assisting other engineers while working with other team members.

Maintain technical experience and knowledge in current and future technologies.
