Are you a skilled Network Engineer with a passion for cloud? Our client, a leading financial services institution, is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join their high-performing infrastructure team. This is a critical role that bridges the gap between traditional on-prem networking and modern cloud-based solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud networking solutions across AWS environments

Supporting and enhancing on-prem networking infrastructure, primarily built on Cisco technologies

Collaborating with cloud platform, security, and application teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available network architecture

Driving automation and IaC practices across the network layer

Troubleshooting complex network issues across hybrid cloud and data centre environments

Participating in network-related project work, including migrations and greenfield builds

What We're Looking For:

Strong experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, NACLs, Security Groups, etc.)

Solid background in on-prem networking, especially with Cisco technologies (switches, routers, firewalls)

Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and how to securely and efficiently connect them

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and network automation tools

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is highly regarded
