About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, strategic, and people-focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team and play a key role in shaping the next stage of our growth.
As our COO, you will be responsible for leading daily operations across the business and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery nationally. You will oversee a team of approximately 40 staff and manage the day-to-day operations of our Adelaide head office.
Key Duties:
Oversee all operational, clinical, assessment, and client service functions, managing department heads and team leads.
Lead company-wide projects and programs, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Develop and maintain internal systems, SOPs, and workflows that support scale and quality.
Oversee onboarding and integration of new clinical staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
Facilitate monthly staff and leadership team meetings.
Manage office operations, including leases, equipment, and facilities.
Maintain key commercial relationships, including external contractors.
Support the Managing Director in contract negotiations and project delivery.
Monitor and maximise billing performance across services.
Manage HR, compliance, IR, and administrative systems in line with regulatory requirements.
Track KPIs and drive continuous operational improvement.
Report directly to the owners and board, contributing to strategy and growth.
About You
You are a dynamic, experienced leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings a solutions-focused mindset.
You bring:
10–15 years experience in senior operations roles, ideally within health or disability sectors.
Strong leadership capability and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Proven experience building and optimising systems, processes, and team structures.
Strong knowledge of HR, compliance, financial management, and contracts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
