Assistant Accountant | Chadstone
$80,000 - $90,000 + Super | Permanent Full-Time

We're currently partnering with a growing business based in Chadstone that is looking to bring on a motivated Assistant Accountant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who's ready to take the next step in their career. You'll play a key role in supporting the finance function across a broad range of responsibilities, gaining exposure to month-end processes and working closely with experienced finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounting reports

Support profit and loss analysis and provide insights where required

Perform weekly bank reconciliations and maintain accuracy of records

Manage the fixed asset register and ensure timely updates

Provide ad-hoc support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions

Contribute to ongoing process improvement and system efficiencies

About You:

Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance

Currently studying towards CA or CPA

Strong Excel skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and pivot tables

Previous experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Netsuite, Pronto, etc.)

Great attention to detail, proactive mindset, and a team-first attitude
