About the role

Our client is currently looking for 3 x Quality Engineers to join their team on a permanent basis to assist with the delivery of high-quality technology solutions across a diverse suite of SaaS applications and integrated systems. This role is perfect for a quality specialist that has strength in manual testing and thrives on implementing automation testing frameworks. The role offers flexible working (2 days in the office and 3 days work from home per week)

Working within a dynamic and supportive tech environment, the successful candidate will drive testing strategy, automation, and execution-leveraging modern tools including AI-powered platforms to streamline workflows and accelerate delivery. You'll be at the heart of system releases and new feature rollouts, ensuring quality is built-in from day one.

Due to the extensive stakeholder engagement involved in this position, it is essential that all applicants have clear, concise and well-structured communication skills, with the ability to talk technical and non-technical with all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead robust test strategies for a range of platforms, focusing on functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Spearhead automation initiatives, building scalable frameworks and libraries using emerging technologies including AI tools.
• Drive a "shift-left" testing culture by integrating QA early in the software development lifecycle.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution, ensuring issues are clearly documented, prioritised, and resolved efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality standards and test coverage with business and technical requirements.
• Deliver clear, data-driven insights on test progress, risk, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices, while mentoring peers in automation and quality engineering techniques.

About you
You'll be a strong fit for this role if you have:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-sufficient with the ability to work autonomously and with limited guidance
• A degree in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience working in quality engineering roles across complex systems.
• Solid experience in test planning, execution, and automation in SaaS and integration-heavy environments.
• Working knowledge of Agile development frameworks and ideally ITIL v4 practices.
• A passion for quality, a sharp analytical mindset, and strong attention to detail.
• A desire to stay ahead of the curve in QA trends and emerging technologies.
