Quality Engineer

We’re a global actor with a local presence with committed engineers working across the country. Our engineers carry out complex and highly technical projects throughout the product development chain of the most prestigious companies in sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Energy, Manufacturing, Public Sector and Life Sciences.

QR_ is currently expending its activity in Australia and we are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Establish quality processes for new product lines
• Creating quality documentation for new product lines
• Lead improvements in Quality standards and practices
• Identifying root causes of technical issues and implementing corrective actions
• Preparing audit reports summarising quality issues outlining improvement plans
• Setting and tracking QA targets
• Monitoring and identifying non-conformance and proposing corrective solutions
• Monitoring quality of incoming goods

Must have:

• Relevant Engineering degree or comparable qualification
• 2+ years' experience working as a Quality Control/Assurance Engineer or similar in the manufacturing industry
• Ability to collaborate with the rest of the team
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in Welding/Welding inspection (AS/NZS ISO 3834 Certification AMD/OR AS/NZS 1554)
• Experience coordinating quality teams
• Experience owning the technical and commercial documentation related to the project
• Experience in QA/QC roles in a manufacturing environment
