We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Transport Manager to lead our W.A. operations, supporting our national transport network. This is a leadership role that offers the chance to work in a rapidly growing logistics startup.

About the role:
The Regional Transport Manager manages the daily transport operations and workforce across Western Australia, delivering leadership, technical knowledge, and operational experience. You will manage all aspects of transportation discipline, ensuring compliance with safety and security measures, personnel scheduling, workload assignments, and cost control. You’ll drive performance through KPIs and support our national network.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, coordinate, and manage the execution of daily transportation and loading activities.
2. Ensure safe working practices and compliance with WHS and SLA’s Policy and Procedures, promptly reporting any incidents, near-misses and hazards.
3. Responsible for ensuring all activities adhere to Service Agreements and local regulations.
4. Manage labour and equipment resources, within budget, to maximise efficiency and profit, meeting operational goals.
5. Develop and implement daily transport operations and administrative functions, leading the transport team to achieve KPIs.
6. Build and maintain strong client relationships, resolving issues promptly. Use problem solving skills when needed.
7. Analyse and complete KPIs and implements continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience
1. Demonstrated leadership and management in transport or logistics operations
2. Strong understanding of transport safety, compliance, and cost controls
3. Experience in budgeting, revenue, and costing structure
4. Understanding of the transport industry and business management
5. Able to implement and deliver accurate policies and procedures
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills
7. High computer-literacy and the ability to quickly learn new systems
8. Client-focused approach with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships
9. Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
10. Minimum 10 years transport industry experience
