MAYDAY is thrilled to embark on a collaborative journey with a Global insurance company, in the quest for multiple Claims Consultants.
Successful candidates will play a pivotal position in managing property claims end to end, offering support to individuals navigating losses amid catastrophic events like fires, flooding, or property damage.
The role is fast-paced, involving frequent phone interactions with customers in their time of need, addressing challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
As a Claims Consultant, you are at the core of ensuring exceptional customer care and satisfaction! Your role is crucial in fostering customer relationships, ensuring customer retention, and handling every claim with professionalism and empathy.

What's in it for you:

- End Date: 20th March 2026

- Rates: Embark your journey with an hourly rate of $39.20 per hour + Super
- Hours: Full-time position working hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm (37.5hrs per week)

Duties:
- Manage a portfolio of claims, with the workload determined by volume.
- Handle a large volume of customer phone calls in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee property claims from initiation to resolution.
- Work closely with builders in the claims process.

- Address and manage confrontational situations effectively.
- Make confident and informed decisions regarding claims.
- Draft and issue denial letters when necessary.
- Resolve conflicts that may arise during the claims process.
- Make determinations on the outcome of each claim.
- Address and overcome objections from various stakeholders.
- Manage and navigate overwhelming situations with composure.
- Handle claims involving significant losses such as homes, fires, flooding, and lost property with sensitivity and empathy.
