Public Sector People are working with a government organisation within Brisbane who are seeking an A07 Human Resource Specialist with at least 5 years experience in ER/IR related matters on temp contract + extension assignment.

Role title: A07 Human Resources ERIR

• Pay: $ 85.31 per hour + 11.5% super
• Location: Brisbane CBD | 2 days from home
• Client: State Government
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: ASAP - 12 months with possible extension
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday + 2 days from home

The role will be focusing on these areas:

• Provide high quality policy and strategic advice on industrial relations matters, including matters arising under the Industrial Relations Act 2016, awards, Office of the Queensland Ombudsman Certified Agreement, Ministerial directives, circulars, guidance notes, and policies.
• Support the negotiation, development, and implementation of enterprise bargaining agreements for all employee groups, including engaging with relevant unions/employee representatives, under the direction of the HR Manager.
• Provide expert advice to senior management of the Office of the Queensland Ombudsman on workforce relations issues with an emphasis on the management of complex employee cases.
