As South Australia’s independent environmental regulator, the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) plays a key role in protecting people and the environment from harm and supporting sustainable development for the benefit of current and future generations.
We work closely with industry, the community and government to protect our unique natural environment while supporting economic growth and improving wellbeing. We aim to be a trusted regulator by adopting best practice regulatory principles in administering South Australia’s environmental laws. This means being proportionate, accountable, consistent, transparent and targeted (the PACTT principles) in providing our regulatory services.
The EPA is establishing a register to help us fill current and future vacancies at the MAS3/PO5 classification level. Positions that become available may be based in either our Adelaide or Mt Gambier offices.

Essential Qualifications:
Please note a relevant degree is an essential qualification for the PO5 classification. Qualifications relevant to the above disciplinary areas will be highly regarded.
Remuneration (depending on qualifications and experience):
MAS3 ($127,859 per annum) + 11.5% superannuation.
PO5 ($124,449 - $130,253 per annum) + 11.5% superannuation.

Special Conditions:
Must be eligible to work in Australia.
Some intrastate travel, including absence overnight, may be required.
Out of hours work may be required as the need arises.
