What you'll do

As a Senior Project Officer you will support the design and delivery of leadership and management capability development programs and initiatives to the Queensland Health workforce. You will manage specified projects in line with contemporary project management methodologies, including benefits realisation and risk and issues management, to ensure the delivery of quality workforce and capability products and services to the Queensland Health clinical workforce. In addition you will provide support in terms of administration, business services, secretariat functions, stakeholder engagement and financial operations. About you

We are searching for someone who demonstrates:

  • Ability to support projects through all phases of the project life cycle, applying project management methodologies, including project budget management, procurement, contract management and reporting.
  • Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of contemporary approaches to the design and delivery of learning and development products and services.
  • Experience in stakeholder relationship management to support effective business change, including the ability to develop relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Analytical, planning and evaluation skills including the ability to effectively integrate related activities to achieve project deliverables and outcomes.
  • Ability to provide advice to senior management on a range of issues with the ability to contribute to the preparation of submissions, briefings and reports.
