• Provide high level strategic and policy advice on planning for industrial development, disposal of Coordinator-General owned land, administration of tenure agreements (licences and leases) and asset management in State Development Areas.
• Lead the negotiation of tenure agreements and liaise with land holders, leaseholders, real estate agents, other government agencies, community groups and the private sector on a range of licence administration and asset management matters.
• Lead the preparation, review and implementation of strategic and operational plans, policies, procedures and reporting related to the management of Coordinator-General owned land and assets.
• Coordinate the active management of tenure agreements and/or assets in accordance with established plans, policy procedures including the negotiation of tenure agreements and liaising with project proponents, leaseholders, real estate agents, other government agencies, community groups and the private sector.
• Prepare consultancy agreements, supervise and manage consultants preparing legal documents and undertaking major economic, engineering, environmental and planning studies or asset management activities.
• Undertake research, analysis and interpretation of complex issues and opportunities relating to industrial land, economic development, licence administration, asset management, multi-user infrastructure corridor management and innovative tenure solutions as required.
• Make recommendations on appropriate expenditure, cost recovery and preparation of budgets to implement the licence administration and asset management program and procedures.
• Actively monitor progress of compliance issues and undertake appropriate follow up or enforcement actions.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary teams as required.
