Our client is a large Government organisation who are seeking 2 x Senior Operational Transport Planner/Engineer to join their team.

The role is responsible for developing a framework and undertaking review of Transport Plans to ensure consistency across a portfolio of projects where possible. This role will review and/or prepare Transport Plans which will include liaising with stakeholders, consultants and other stakeholders to undertaking monitoring and updates to existing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scoping transport programs to promote active and sustainable transport to school.
   
2. Engaging the transport program service provided
   
3. Communicating the transport program to the school community
   
4. Implementing travel mode share surveys to monitor transport use
   
5. Review and implement all the required actions stated in the travel Plan
   

Selection Criteria:

1. Transport Planning or Transport Engineering experience
   
2. Knowledge of relevant planning legislation, with the ability to understand and apply.
   
3. Demonstrated experience in integrated public transport and urban planning and/or development- related traffic impact assessment
   
4. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in town planning, land use planning/assessment, transport planning, engineering, environmental science or another appropriate discipline.
