We’re looking for a skilled C# Software Engineer to help us build the backend of a new self-service portal that will streamline internal workflows and system processes. This role will be central to building out modern, efficient, and secure backend services that run the self-service portal.
You’ll be working with a small, focused team to design and implement REST APIs, integrate with AWS cloud services, and manage data flows via relational databases.

3 Days a week in the office. This can reduce to 2 after a few weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using C#
• Develop and consume REST APIs to enable seamless interactions across systems
• Work closely with front-end developers and stakeholders to support portal functionality
• Manage and optimise data within a relational database environment (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security across services
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in code reviews and sprint planning
• Collaborate with the wider infrastructure and platform teams to ensure seamless deployment on AWS

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience developing backend services in C#
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Experience working in cloud-based environments, preferably AWS
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, and agile development practices
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
