Job Title: Senior CIAM Technical Engineer
Location: Melbourne and Queensland
Duration: Initial 12 months + 12-month extension
Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance

Job Description: The Senior CIAM Technical Engineer plays a crucial role within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function. This position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of a major customer identity and access management (CIAM) project within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure the CIAM solution aligns with security standards and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and optimization of a major CIAM project, focusing on user registration, authentication, authorization, and profile management.
• Work independently on competing and urgent tasks to achieve CIAM outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective CIAM configurations.
• Configure and manage CIAM features, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and security best practices.
• Optimize the CIAM solution for scalability, performance, and user experience, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Prioritize building automations and integrations to enhance CIAM capabilities and streamline user interactions.

Must have:

1. Strong experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing customer identity and access management solutions.
2. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
3. Experience with CIAM products such as Auth0, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping, Akamai, or equivalent.
4. Ability to lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
5. Demonstrated positive attitude towards people with disability.

Nice to have:

1. Experience working in an industrialized cloud Data Lake and/or EDW environment.
2. Process mapping skills to translate discussions into data flows and process documentation.
3. Experience working within project management frameworks and understanding the tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
