Direct Collective is a fast-growing serviced apartment chain with complexes located throughout Queensland. We are currently seeking a reliable casual grounds person/gardener for our brand-new resort, Lowanna Beach Resort in Buddina.

Working approx. 2 - 3 days per week, we are seeking applicants who know their way around a toolbox, garden, pool and required machinery. Applicants should be able to learn quickly and be comfortable working autonomously.

To shine in this position, we are looking for someone with energy and a positive attitude. Good time management and meticulous attention to detail is essential.

Reporting to the Complex Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and appearance of the property and its grounds are of a high standard. Ideally you will have experience with basic preventative maintenance.

This role calls for people who are physically fit, who have an assertive approach to workplace health and safety and will go the extra mile to provide a positive guest experience.

This role is a hands-on role and among other tasks, the successful applicant will manage the following duties.

Maintain all grounds of the complex.

Maintain all garden beds and lawns throughout the complex.

Clean all walkways and driveways within the complex.

Maintain pool.

Report any areas of concern to the Complex Manager immediately.

All other tasks as per caretaking agreement and direction from management.
