Job Title: Caretaking and Grounds Maintenance

We are moving from providing grounds and gardens services to total building maintenance, cleaning and pool care - and opportunities now exist for passionate and hardworking team members interested in total property care.

Position Overview: We are looking for reliable Caretaking and Grounds team members to assist in the general maintenance, cleaning and enhancement of selected properties across the Sunshine Coast. Working in a team, you will complete a variety of tasks, including but not limited to lawn care, pruning, weeding, mulching and general landscaping duties as well as pool cleaning, light maintenance and some internal cleaning. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine interest in working outdoors. CASUAL and FULL TIME positions available.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain high standard of internal and external appearance of resort, commercial and apartment properties;

Perform routine maintenance of outdoor spaces, including mowing, weeding, pruning and cleaning duties;

Operate and maintain machinery, gardening tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner;

Pool cleaning, chemical balancing, test management and coordination;

Identify and report general maintenance requirements and property improvements;

Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Assist in additional gardening and landscaping tasks, such as planting, watering, and fertilising.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or related field preferred but not required.

Physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
