About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives during their most challenging times? We’re seeking a Claims Case Manager with experience in Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) to join a values-led, purpose-driven organisation based in Sydney.

This role sits within a team that supports members through complex life events. Your core responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end TPD claims process, providing compassionate support and clear guidance to claimants. You’ll also liaise with legal representatives, insurers, and internal stakeholders to ensure each case is assessed fairly and efficiently.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced case managers from a superannuation or life insurance background who are looking to make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of TPD insurance claims from lodgement to resolution

Communicate clearly and empathetically with members and their representatives

Prepare trustee recommendations and ensure documentation is compliant and complete

Review and challenge insurer decisions where appropriate to advocate for fair outcomes

Provide accurate updates and support to claimants, making complex processes feel simple

The Ideal Candidate:

Prior experience in claims case management, ideally within superannuation or life insurance

A strong background in handling TPD or disability claims

Confidence in assessing and reviewing declined claims and preparing recommendations

Strong written and verbal communication skills
